Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Cardfarer is an offline single-player game developed by Jellume Games. This policy covers the Windows edition (Microsoft Store and itch.io), the browser edition, and this website.

Data collection and transmission

The game does not send personal information, device identifiers, gameplay analytics, or crash reports to Jellume Games or to third parties. It does not include advertising, account registration, cloud saves, or online multiplayer. An internet connection is not required to play the Windows edition.

Local game data

Game progress, decks, achievements, settings, and an optional character nickname are stored locally on your device. In the browser edition they are kept in your browser's local storage for the site you play on. The nickname is used only to label your fictional character. The game does not ask for your legal name, email address, phone number, or other contact details. Local game data is not uploaded or shared by the game. You can reset adventure progress using the game's reset option; some achievements and preferences are kept by that option. Clearing your browser's site data removes the browser edition's saves.

Device permissions

The game does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or advertising identifier. On Windows, its desktop execution permission is used to run the Unity game as the current user without asking for administrator rights.

This website

This website uses Google Analytics to understand visits to its landing page and privacy page, including page views, referral sources, and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes website usage data under Google's Privacy Policy. Website analytics do not read or upload your game saves or character nickname. The game frame and standalone play page do not load the website analytics tag.

The website remembers your language choice in your browser's local storage and does not display advertising. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the pages. Links to itch.io, YouTube and the Microsoft Store lead to services with their own privacy policies.

Microsoft Store and Windows

Microsoft Store and Windows may process purchase, download, account, or operating-system diagnostic information under Microsoft's own privacy policies. These platform services operate separately from the game's data handling.

Children

The same offline data practices apply to all players, including children.

Changes

If the game's data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new revision date.
